Disclaimer
Read this before you train. It applies to every routine, article, tool and piece of content in PHYSIOATHLETX.
1. Educational content only
PHYSIOATHLETX provides educational training, nutrition-science and wellness content: structured routines, guided progressions and evidence-based education. It exists to inform and to support your training — nothing more.
2. Not medical advice
Nothing in PHYSIOATHLETX is medical advice, and nothing in it replaces assessment, guidance or care from a qualified healthcare professional. No practitioner–patient relationship is created by using the app, reading its content or following its routines.
3. No diagnosis — you self-select
PHYSIOATHLETX never determines, asserts or implies what is going on with your body. Conditions listed in the app are topics you may choose to read about; when you pick one, the app simply records "You selected" — it does not confirm that the topic applies to you. Condition content is general, third-person education. An assessment by a qualified professional is the only way to know what applies to you.
4. Talk to a professional first
Before starting any exercise or nutrition routine — especially if you have pain, an injury history, a known health condition, are pregnant, or take medication — get assessed by a qualified healthcare professional. Content about supplements summarizes published research in general terms; discuss any supplement with a qualified professional before using it.
5. Stop-if guidance
Exercises in PHYSIOATHLETX include specific "stop if" guidance. Take it literally. As a general rule, stop the session if you notice:
- sharp, stabbing or worsening pain (not normal muscle burn);
- numbness, tingling or loss of sensation;
- dizziness, chest discomfort or unusual shortness of breath;
- swelling, giving-way or loss of control in a joint.
If a symptom appears and persists, get assessed by a qualified professional before continuing that routine.
6. Emergencies
If you experience severe or sudden symptoms, seek medical care immediately.
Do not use the app to decide whether something is an emergency — contact local emergency services.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for training within your own limits and for the choices you make based on educational content. If anything in the app conflicts with guidance you have received from a qualified professional, follow your professional's guidance.
8. Exercise imagery
The images showing exercise positions are illustrative and computer-generated. They are there to show you the shape of a movement — they are not photographs of real people, and the people in them are not customers, members, patients or practitioners.
Written cues and the stop rule on each exercise are the authoritative description of how to perform it. Where an image and the text seem to disagree, follow the text.
